At Plot Potential, we believe every piece of land holds possibility—but understanding how to unlock that potential shouldn't be overwhelming, time-consuming, or reserved for the few who know how the system works.
We're building a way forward for first-home buyers, investors, families, and anyone sitting on a piece of land wondering "What next?" No more gatekeeping. No more guesswork.
People were genuinely curious and ready to take the next step—but they didn't know where to begin. They lacked access to straightforward answers, up-to-date rules, and expert insights that didn't come with a hefty price tag or months of waiting.
That gap between curiosity and action is what inspired us to build something better.
For me (Rishabh), the idea behind Plot Potential came from countless real conversations. Whether I was at work, grabbing coffee, or chatting at a weekend BBQ—I kept hearing the same questions:
These weren't just casual thoughts. People were genuinely curious and ready to take the next step—but they didn't know where to begin.
That's how Plot Potential was born. What started as a sketch on paper quickly grew into a mission shared by all of us. Today, Plot Potential is built by a small, passionate team of planners, designers, engineers, and creatives who believe in doing things differently.
We've created a platform that makes understanding your land simple, fast, and clear. Within 75 seconds, you get a complete picture of what's possible—from zoning rules and planning insights to architectural options, engineering feasibility, and even costing.
Join thousands of property owners who have discovered what's possible with their land.
From New Zealand to the world, we bring clarity to complex planning systems

We are starting in New Zealand—with strong validation, growing traction, and a clear vision for global impact.
Few places in the world have planning systems as intricate, layered, and fragmented as Aotearoa. Every district plan, council, and region speaks a slightly different language. For property owners, deciphering what they can and can't do with their land often feels like trying to solve a puzzle with missing pieces—and no guide.
But that challenge is exactly what drew us in.
Because if we could solve it here, we knew we could solve it anywhere.
"What can I do with my property?"
It's a question I heard again and again. Not just from developers, but from everyday people—first-home buyers, downsizers, parents, investors, and landowners trying to do the right thing with what they had. The system's answers, when they came, were slow, inconsistent, expensive, and wrapped in red tape.
So I left my role within the system and decided to do something about it.
What started as my personal journey quickly became something bigger. I brought together a team of former council planners, engineers, technologists, and urban designers—experts who knew the rules because they helped write them. Together, we set out to simplify the process at scale.
Plot Potential is an AI-powered platform that helps people instantly understand their property's development potential. It automates feasibility studies, decodes district plan rules, and integrates directly with council and public data to deliver answers—clearly, quickly, and reliably.
It's the first tool of its kind to tackle property development complexity at both a system and human level.
We are starting in New Zealand with great traction and validation, but our sights are set much wider.
Across the world, the dream of building or investing in housing is becoming harder, not easier. Planning systems are complex. Guidance is inconsistent. And trust in the process has eroded.
We believe everyone—regardless of expertise—should be empowered to understand their land and make informed decisions with it.
We believe in a future where red tape doesn't block progress, where technology fosters collaboration between citizens and councils, and where property development is an inclusive pathway to prosperity.
Plot Potential is more than a product—it's a platform for change.
We're using New Zealand as a launchpad for a broader mission: to bring clarity, confidence, and capability to property owners everywhere. What we've proven here, we're now preparing to scale globally—to countries facing similar bottlenecks, miscommunication, and trust gaps in their urban systems.
Because land is universal.
Opportunity should be too.
